Saturday, September 10, 2016 from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. at
Memorial Park on the Hudson River in Nyack, NY
Nyack Family Bike Day is a celebration of bicycling and family fun.
Taking place at Nyack Memorial Park, attendees will have numerous activities to pass the day away. Due to popular demand, the AAA Bike Rodeo will return, where children can learn how to ride a bike with guided help from our expert volunteers and learn about safety awareness and bike education. Enjoy a peaceful ride along the Hudson River or on a local, off-road trail guided by our expert cyclist – but don’t forget your safety gear! Afterwards, come back to Memorial Park where you can enjoy live music while fueling up on food after your ride.
A new addition this year is a bicycle collection program. There will be an event on Friday, July 1 at the Nyack Center from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to collect bikes that will be tuned by local professionals before being matched with local families who would not otherwise be able to afford bikes.
This year’s net proceeds will benefit The Nyack Center whose mission is to support children, youth and families through educational and recreational programs.
